This holiday season, our church is partnering with Intown Collaborative Ministries to meet the needs of our neighbors who are homeless or hungry.

To that end, Virginia-Highland Church is issuing a Twelve Days of Christmas Challenge.

On each day of the 12 days of Christmas (which begins on Christmas Day), we are asking you to purchase the specific item(s) designated below.

Then, on Sunday, January 8, 2017, when we celebrate Epiphany, bring your gifts to church – just as the Magi brought their gifts to the infant Jesus.

Day 1 – One Pound of Sugar

Day 2 – Two Boxes of Cereal

Day 3 – Three Pounds of Rice or Beans

Day 4 – Four Jars of Peanut Butter

Day 5 – Five Bags of Pasta

Day 6 – Six Jars of Pasta Sauce

Day 7 – Seven Cans of Tuna, Ham or Chicken

Day 8 – Eight Cans of Veggies

Day 9 – Nine Cans of Soup

Day 10 – Ten Pairs of Socks

Day 11 – Eleven Granola Bars

Day 8 – Eight Cans of Veggies
