Kathy is ordained within the United Church of Christ and the Metropolitan Community Church. Prior to coming to Virginia-Highland Church, she served as associate pastor at Decatur United Church of Christ. She also has served as a volunteer chaplain for Emory School of Medicine’s Physician Assistants South Georgia Migrant Farmworker Health Project. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in English Education, a Master of English Education, and an Educational Specialist degree from Georgia State University, and a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary, with additional studies at Emory’s Candler School of Theology.
