Summer Music Festival 2016


Elkins, Randy NEW SMALLERVirginia-Highland Church celebrates a diverse selection of music during the month of July with our Summer Music Festival. We’ve put together a great selection of musical performances for you to enjoy. You are also, of course, welcome to join us every Sunday at 11 a.m. for our regular worship service. We are blessed to enjoy great music every week during worship.

Our Summer Music Festival is one way we live out our mission to Do Justice, Love Mercifully, and Walk Humbly. We look forward to enjoying a July filled with music and song with you!

Organ Fireworks II

Sunday, July 3 at 3 p.m.

Festival founder and artistic director Randy Elkins with special guest David Reeb on piano kick off our festival with an afternoon of Americana featuring "Largo from the New World Symphony" and Gershwin’s "Rhapsody in Blue."

Friday, July 15 at 8 p.m.

Ken Double, organist from Atlanta’s Fox Theatre takes us back to the era of silent movies with this Hollywood classic complete with live organ accompaniment. An educational and fun trip back in time for your whole family!
