In 2002, Virginia-Highland became affiliated with the progressive United Church of Christ, a denomination that proudly proclaims, “God is still speaking.” We are dually affiliated with the progressive network of the Alliance of Baptists. Both share our value of diversity.

In addition to special events and service opportunities, on Sundays we offer Religious Education classes at 9:30 a.m. and Worship with Communion at 11 a.m. Our worship lasts one hour, and often we go to brunch afterwards at a nearby restaurant.

When the Virginia Highland congregation observes Communion each Sunday morning, our pastor says, "This is not our table but God's table, and everyone is invited to receive." This we strongly believe:
